In celebration of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, Netflix and Target partnered on a must-see national marketing campaign that established Target as the place for fans to gear up for one last adventure, together.

“Prepare for one last adventure.”

As Senior Copywriter and writing lead, I helped bring the Stranger Things x Target world to life with humor, heart, and deep cuts for the fans. Starting from the strategy brief, I developed and sold through creative concepts, wrote scripts, and helped shape storyboards that carried the show’s spirit into Target’s universe. I stayed hands-on through every stage—from casting and set design to music and post-production—and on set, I fed lines to talent, collaborated with the director, and made sure every detail felt authentic, balanced, and just a little bit strange.

This partnership shows what happens when two passionate teams come together. We took the running gag of Ted Wheeler’s obliviousness and placed him in the one place everyone loves to escape to: Target.
